Storage and bank layout
Required capacity, practical installed capacity, usable energy, reserve, expected depletion and series or parallel arrangement where applicable.
Results and reports
GridGap organises the output into system requirements, configuration guidance, warnings and the assumptions used to reach the result. Pro and Business users can carry that information into a branded PDF report.

Headline requirements
An AC battery-only scenario will not produce the same result set as a mixed AC/DC solar scenario. GridGap adds or removes result groups according to the selected architecture.
Required capacity, practical installed capacity, usable energy, reserve, expected depletion and series or parallel arrangement where applicable.
Minimum and recommended inverter capacity, estimated load percentage, system voltage and surge-related outputs for included AC appliances.
Energy to replace, charging window, charger efficiency, minimum charge requirement and estimated recharge time from an AC source.
Required solar watts, panel count, battery recharge contribution, solar-day load demand, controller requirement and array surplus or shortfall.
Main distribution requirements, downstream boards, voltage conversion and the division between AC and DC loads in mixed systems.
Configuration details
When technical installation inputs are populated, GridGap can calculate wiring required, number of interconnectors, battery and solar string or parallel connections, and related installation guidance.

Warnings and information
Warnings are there to draw attention to inputs or outcomes that need review. They do not all mean the calculation failed, and they should not all be treated with the same urgency.
A serious incompatibility or condition that should be resolved before relying on the proposed arrangement.
A result may be technically possible but close to a limit, dependent on an assumption or likely to need adjustment.
Context that helps explain the result, a design choice or an area that still needs professional confirmation.
Branded PDF output
Reports can include the project and scenario summary, appliance loads, inputs, assumptions, calculated requirements, system configuration, warnings, charts and supporting result summaries.
Battery, inverter, charger, solar and distribution results grouped with assumptions and warnings.
GridGap keeps the inputs, outputs and review notes together so a saved version can be understood later rather than becoming an unexplained number.
