Create A DC Battery + Distribution Scenario

Use this path for DC loads where solar is not part of the period you are modelling.

Check the loads first

The version should contain DC appliances only. If AC appliances are present, the app blocks the DC-only scenario. Remove the AC loads or choose a mixed AC/DC scenario instead.

Create the scenario

On the Scenario editor, choose DC - Battery + Distribution. Use the guided route if you want the app to create load groups, collect worst-case usage hours, and then use Continue to Scenario Settings. GridGap will show that the scenario is ready before opening the starting settings.

Use Start with blank scenario settings if you want to choose the scenario type in the blank scenario modal and enter the assumptions yourself.

What to review

Focus on the battery assumptions, DC distribution path, usage hours, charging assumptions, and warnings after calculation.
