Create An AC/DC Solar + Battery + Distribution Scenario

Use this path when the version contains both AC and DC loads and solar belongs in the same option.

Check the loads first

This is the broadest scenario path. It is for mixed load lists where solar is also expected to support the system or help recharge the battery.

Create the scenario

On the Scenario editor, choose AC/DC - Solar + Battery + Distribution. Use the guided route if you want GridGap to create load groups, collect worst-case usage hours, and then use Continue to Scenario Settings. GridGap will show that the scenario is ready before opening the starting settings.

Use Start with blank scenario settings if you want to choose the mixed solar scenario in the blank scenario modal without guided starting defaults.

What to review

Review battery, inverter, DC distribution, solar, solar controller, charging, and warnings after calculation. If the result looks too large, check loads, usage hours, solar assumptions, and recharge expectations before changing one setting.
