How Branded Reports Work

Branded reports are intended to let a user add one company or personal logo to professional PDF outputs while still preserving GridGap's reporting boundary and disclaimers.

Logo model

The planned model is one logo per user, stored as a file on the server with only the metadata saved in the database. If no user logo exists, the default GridGap branding would be used.

Practical limits

The planned upload approach includes file-size controls, image resizing, and compression so uploaded logos stay lightweight and suitable for report headers without bloating storage or degrading the PDF experience.

What branding does not change

Branding improves presentation, not engineering status. A report that includes a logo is still a preliminary sizing report and still requires professional validation before real-world implementation.
