Troubleshooting: Invitation Acceptance Problems
Workspace invitation problems are usually caused by using the wrong email address, opening an expired or revoked invite, or trying to sign up when an account already exists for the invited email.
What this usually means
GridGap found the invitation token, but the account session or email address does not match the invitation rules, or the invitation is no longer usable.
Common causes
Common causes include accepting the invite while signed in with a different email, using a social login account that does not match the invited email address, opening an older invitation after a resend, or trying to create a new account when one already exists for the invited email.
How to fix it
Start by checking the invited email shown on the invitation screen. If you are already signed in, sign out and then sign back in with that exact email address. If the invite says it has expired or been revoked, ask the workspace owner or admin to resend the invitation and use only the newest email.
If GridGap says an account already exists for the invited email, use the login path instead of creating a second account. If you still cannot access the invitation, ask the workspace owner to verify that the email was entered correctly in the first place.
