How PDF Export Works
PDF export is part of the current paid workflow and is built around stored result data rather than screenshots of the live page.
Current status
GridGap's report-style PDF output belongs to the current paid product surface, although layout polish and presentation details may still improve over time.
Export model
The export model is backend-generated PDF output based on stored project-version results. One export represents one specific project version, with its scenarios, warnings, and report structure tied to that saved result set. If a version has not been calculated yet, there is nothing meaningful for the export layer to render.
Access and context
PDF export is part of the paid report workflow. Personal access depends on the relevant paid plan, while workspace report context depends on the active workspace and its access rules. If export is missing, check both the plan and the current context before assuming the calculation itself is broken.
Report boundary
PDF export does not change the product boundary. A polished report is still a preliminary sizing output, not a certified engineering design or installation sign-off.
