Troubleshooting: Billing And Subscription Confusion
The most common billing confusion in GridGap is mixing up personal billing with Business workspace billing. The same login can belong to both, but they are still managed separately.
What usually causes confusion
A personal Pro subscription and a Business workspace subscription are different billing contexts. One person can hold a paid personal plan and also belong to one or more Business workspaces, but the billing controls, notices, and renewal states are not merged together.
Common situations
Common examples include expecting a Business workspace subscription to unlock personal billing controls, expecting a personal paid plan to manage workspace seats, or seeing different statuses between the personal Billing page and a workspace Billing page owned by a workspace owner.
How to check the right billing context
First confirm whether the issue is about your own personal subscription or about a Business workspace. If it is personal, use the personal Billing area. If it is about workspace seats, workspace renewals, or workspace billing access, the correct place is the workspace Billing area and, in many cases, only the workspace owner can take the action.
If the subscription status still does not make sense after checking the correct billing context, open an in-app support ticket under Billing / subscription. If you cannot get into the app, use the contact form.
