Troubleshooting: Renewal Rights And Billing Notices
Some users will see renewal reminders or Billing-page notices tied to local renewal rules. These are not generic warnings. They are territory-driven rights notices and renewal reminders based on the subscription and billing country on record.
What these notices mean
If you see a renewal-right or cooling-off notice, GridGap has matched the subscription against an active territory rule. The message will usually appear in Billing and may also be reinforced by renewal reminder emails.
Common questions
Users often wonder why they received a renewal notice when other subscribers did not, or why a cooling-off message appears on one billing context but not another. The answer is usually that the rule depends on billing country, subscription type, interval, and whether the right applies to consumer or Business billing.
What to do next
If the notice is informational, review the billing date and the wording carefully. If it says you may request cancellation during a renewal cooling-off period, follow the support route described on the Billing page. In current GridGap flows that means opening a support ticket so the request can be reviewed manually.
If the notice seems wrong, raise a billing support ticket and include the account or workspace context, your billing country, and the renewal date shown in the app.
