Equipment Check Statuses Explained

These labels help you screen hardware. They are not engineering approval labels.

Suitable

The selected hardware appears to meet the relevant requirement with acceptable margin under the current result assumptions.

Borderline

The selected hardware is close enough to need a second look. It may be usable in some contexts, but the margin is not comfortable.

Undersized

The selected value appears below the relevant requirement and is likely to be inadequate for the current version.

Oversized

The selected hardware is above the requirement. That is not automatically a fault. It may still be the wrong fit if size, cost, or compatibility becomes a problem.

Not provided means the field was left empty. Not applicable means the check did not apply to the current result context. This can happen when the selected version's scenario type does not produce a matching requirement for that equipment field.
