How Solar Controller Results Work
The Solar tab tells you how much array the scenario wants. The Solar Controller tab tells you what that same result asks from the MPPT or controller.
What the Solar Controller tab is doing
Panel count and controller sizing are related, but they are not the same decision. You can end up with an array that looks fine on the Solar tab while the controller side still feels tight.
That is why this tab exists separately. It gives you a clean controller view rather than hiding those numbers inside the wider solar summary.
MPPT PV input values
The first two cards are Minimum MPPT PV input and Recommended MPPT PV input. These describe the PV input power the controller is expected to handle.
The minimum value is the lower threshold implied by the scenario. The recommended value is the more practical planning number. If you are comparing real hardware, the recommended figure is usually the better place to start.
A comfortable-looking array can still produce an awkward controller requirement. If that happens, the controller side needs closer attention than the panel count alone would suggest.
MPPT charge current values
The other two cards are Minimum MPPT charge current and Recommended MPPT charge current. These describe the controller output side in current terms. That is often how real MPPT products are compared in practice.
A controller has to do more than accept panel-side input. It also has to deliver suitable charging current into the battery system. A unit that looks acceptable on PV input alone can still be a poor fit if the charging side is too tight.

This tab also becomes especially useful when you move into Equipment Check. If you already have a real controller or MPPT in mind, these values give you the reference points for comparing it against the current scenario result.
