How DC Distribution Results Work
DC distribution results explain how the battery-backed DC side is arranged after calculation. They are most useful when a scenario has direct DC loads, converter paths, or downstream distribution boards.
Where these results appear
DC distribution scenarios can show distribution summary cards in the Overview tab and a Distribution detail tab. Solar DC scenarios can also show the Solar and Solar Controller tabs.
Mixed AC/DC scenarios may also show inverter results for the AC side. Read those alongside the distribution result, not as a replacement for it.
Distribution summary
The summary can include Main DC Bus, Converters, Downstream Distribution Boards, Direct Bus Loads, Converter Bus Loads, and Battery-to-main-bus converter.
These cards tell you the shape of the DC system. A simple result may have most loads on the main bus. A more complex result may need converter paths and downstream distribution boards for other voltage groups.
Currents and protections
The Distribution tab can also show Main DC bus current, Battery path current, Battery-to-main-bus fuse, Main DC bus fuse, converter branch fuse summaries, and downstream DB fuse summaries.
Treat these as planning outputs. They help you see where the DC side may be heavy, but they do not replace final protection design or installation checks.
DC charging outputs
DC distribution scenarios can also show DC charging outputs such as DC charge hours, DC minimum charger W, DC minimum charger A, Recommended DC charger, Recommended DC charger current, and DC recharge time.
Read these values against the battery result and the available DC charging window. If the recharge time is too close to the available hours, the DC charging side has little margin.
Installation guidance
If installation guidance is enabled, DC distribution scenarios can include DC interconnects, DC protections, DC-side current, cable totals, direct bus loads, converter bus loads, converters, and downstream distribution boards.
Use that section as an advisory planning layer. It is there to make the result more practical to discuss, not to produce final DC design approval.
