Troubleshooting: Scenario Details Are Invalid
The backend rejected one or more scenario values. The main message is only the summary, so look for the field-level error underneath it.
Where the problem usually is
A scenario field, usage row, related input block, or linked value did not pass validation, so the scenario could not be saved or updated before calculation.
What to check
Check for a required numeric field being missing or out of range, a dropdown value not matching an allowed backend value, an input being sent for the wrong scenario type, or a database-backed profile code no longer matching the allowed list.
Scenario type matters here. AC-only scenarios use the AC inverter and charging fields. DC distribution scenarios use the DC distribution and DC charging fields. Mixed AC/DC scenarios can involve both sets. Solar settings only make sense when the selected scenario type includes solar.
Next step
Review the exact field-level error shown under the main message. The specific field name is the most important clue.
If the visible values look correct, check whether the issue is actually coming from a related hidden or profile-driven field, not the field you were focused on.
