How To Read The Results Page
Check the version first. Most mistakes on this page start when someone compares the wrong saved option and only notices later.
How the page is organised
The flow is simple. Pick a saved version. Scan the Scenario Results cards for that version. Then open the Scenario Detail tabs for the scenario you want to inspect properly.
Each version carries its own stored results and warnings, so changing version changes the rest of the page with it.
Version selector
The Version Selector tells the page which saved version to load. When you switch it, the scenario list, metric cards, warnings, and detail tabs all switch too.
The summary card beside it gives quick context. You can see the version number, version name, created date, how many scenarios are stored, how many results are saved, and how many warnings were returned.
If you are comparing options, pause here first. Confirm the version before judging battery count, inverter size, or panel count.
Scenario results cards
The Scenario Results section gives you a compact view of every scenario stored inside the selected version. Each card shows the scenario number, scenario type, calculation mode, and a short summary of the most important outputs.
Depending on the scenario type, the summary can include Battery count, Battery config, Recommended inverter size, Recommended charger size, Recommended DC charger, Main DC Bus, Converters, Downstream Distribution Boards, Solar/day Wh, Battery depletion, and a warning count.
Treat these cards as a quick scan. They tell you which scenario deserves a closer look. They are not the full explanation.
Scenario detail and tabs
The lower Scenario Detail section is where the stored result is broken into readable parts. If no result has been saved yet, the page tells you the scenario is still awaiting calculation. If a result exists, the page shows the relevant tabs for that scenario.
The tab set can include Overview, Battery, Inverter, Distribution, Charging, Solar, Solar Controller, Equipment Check, Installation Guidance, and Warnings. Not every tab appears for every scenario.
Each tab answers a different question. Battery covers storage. Inverter covers the AC support side. Distribution covers the DC bus, converter paths, and downstream distribution boards. Charging shows how the bank is restored. Solar and Solar Controller explain the PV side. Warnings tell you where to be cautious. Installation Guidance adds planning context only.
How to read the Overview tab
The Overview tab is the fastest place to judge whether the scenario looks broadly sensible before you get into the detail.
The first cards depend on scenario type. Solar scenarios may begin with Night load Wh. Battery-focused scenarios may begin with Total off-grid Wh. DC distribution scenarios can also surface the main DC bus and distribution shape. From there you may see metrics such as Battery depletion, Energy to replace, Battery count, Battery configuration, Recommended inverter size, Recommended charger size, Recommended DC charger, Main DC Bus, Converters, Downstream Distribution Boards, Recommended MPPT size, Panels required, Panel configuration, Panels for recharge, Autonomy hours, Recharge time, Battery reserve margin, Inverter load, and Solar surplus / shortfall.
Use this tab to spot where the strain is. High battery depletion pushes you toward the Battery tab. Long recharge time pushes you toward Charging. DC bus or converter complexity pushes you toward Distribution. A jump in panel count or a solar shortfall pushes you toward Solar and Solar Controller. If the headline numbers look fine but the warning count is high, keep going.
What to do next
A sensible reading order is: confirm the version, scan the scenario cards, read the Overview tab, then open the deeper tabs that match whatever looks weak, expensive, or uncertain.
